Pierre Forcioli-Conti is the Director of Product Design at Neural, where he designs intuitive data products that harness cutting-edge AI, geospatial technology, and machine learning. With a creative background in media arts and storytelling, Pierre brings a unique perspective to the intersection of technology and user-centered design, ensuring complex tools are accessible and engaging.
Previously, as Director of Product at Meedan, Pierre led the development of Check, an AI-powered tool for misinformation analysis that enabled newsrooms worldwide to source and verify audience content across platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and Instagram, supporting elections in over 25 countries. He also co-founded Workbench, a data analysis and transformation platform for non-technical people. Workbench empowered thousands of journalists globally including the Financial Times, and the Wall Street Journal, and was integrated into journalism workshops at Stanford, Columbia, and other institutions.
Earlier in his career, Pierre worked as the Director of Programs at Gray Area Foundation for the Arts, supporting creative projects at the nexus of art, technology, and civic engagement, and gained experience as a film editor, director, and producer on documentaries with VICE Media and various film companies.
